June 24, 2015 – From Happy Camp to Harris Beach state park

Left the motel at 7:00am

Packed and ready to leave Motel at Happy Camp

I took a summer only road to get to HWY 199 to get back close to coast, as in land was very hot and I needed to be close to coast which was a lot cooler.
The road was empty and I only saw two trucks in this stretch.
After getting on 199, there was again forest with giant trees and this time I stopped and took a hike in the forst.

Time for breakfast…
First I thought it’s best breakfast in the country, then I noticed it’s in the county!
Probably this is the only breakfast place in the county!

At Smith River I stopped by in a beach to see my brother’s wedding with FaceTime, I also got to see Seals.

Entering Oregon, in Visitor Center in Oregon they just gave me state road map before I asked for it!

Got to Harris Beach state park just before 5pm, time to setup tent eat dinner and go for a walk by the beach.
